Government Contracting SIG
The mission of the Government Contracting (GC) Special Interest Group (SIG) is to promote understanding of common practices and experiences of government related activities for individuals by hearing dynamic speakers, sharing common practices and promoting the understanding of related laws and policies as well as keeping us abreast of new developments.
We also strive to provide networking opportunities for professionals with a specific interest in GC. After all, it is always time to learn about new rules and regulations! If you enjoy government contracting, you've found the right place. Any professional interested in or who works with Government is welcome to attend our presentations and meetings.
Our meetings are bi-monthly and we also offer special programs on related subject matter. Most programs provide HRCI certification hours so make sure to make your education count!

Steven is the president of HR Solutions, a compensation consulting company specializing in providing market based compensation programs that are EEO, DCAA and DOL compliant. Prior to joining HR Solutions in 1996, Steven served as VP of Compensation and Benefits at Orbital Sciences Corporation, Director of Compensation at Martin Marietta Corporation - Information Systems Group, Director of Compensation and Benefits at M/A-Com DCC (now Hughes Network Systems), and Compensation Manager at Communications Satellite Corporation (COMSAT).
