Keith Greene, SPHR, is Director of Membership for the Council on Foundations, the national association which emphasizes the value of philanthropy in the lives of people everywhere.  Previously, he served in leadership roles with BoardSource, which is dedicated to advancing the public good by building exceptional nonprofit boards and inspiring board service, and for 16 years with SHRM. 
 
Keith was an HR practitioner for thirteen years.  He holds a BBA Degree in Personnel Management in 1979 from the George Washington University in Washington, DC, and in 1995, he received his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
 
He serves on the National Association for Professional Background Screening's Background Screening Credentialing Council and on the Boards of the Business and Labor Responds to AIDS for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and for the Friends of the National Zoo. Keith was President of NoVa SHRM in 1994.
