Ruchi Jalla is NOVA SHRM’s new Diversity Leader. Ruchi has been working in the diversity field for more than 8 years at companies such as RBC Financial Group, Research in Motion (RIM) (creators of BlackBerry) and most recently at Altegrity. In her work, she encourages others to explore their personal connection to diversity so they can advocate an approach of awareness, respect and inclusion. Ruchi is excited to be working with NOVA SHRM and hopes that her passion and excitement will bring a fresh and unique perspective to the Northern Virginia HR community.
For the past three years, Ruchi has lived in Los Angeles, and prior to that she was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She speaks Hindi with her family and recently had a chance to flaunt her French skills on a trip to Paris and Nice. Ruchi loves to travel with her husband and has dreams of retiring at 35 to live overseas.
