NEWSLETTER EDITOR FILLED
‣ Non-Voting Position

The Newsletter Editor coordinates the publishing of the chapter’s monthly newsletter which provides timely and comprehensive information to chapter members about programs, workshops, and other matters of interest. Gathers articles from Board leaders and volunteers. Persuades volunteers to submit articles by newsletter deadline. Serves as quality control. Represents the Chapter in the Human Resources community.
Minimum time commitment per month: 5 hours.

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST FILLED
 Non-Voting Position

The Social Media Strategist will craft and carry out an effective online member engagement strategy via NOVA SHRM’s social media channels. The Strategist will manage, update and enhance our social media presence in alignment with marketing and communication efforts and in support of the chapter’s goals, programs and events. Represents the Chapter in the Human Resources community.
Minimum time commitment per month: 10 hours.

DIRECTOR, SHRM FOUNDATION FILLED

Educate, promote, and represent the interests of the SHRM Foundation and its activities to the chapter membership. Encourage the chapter membership to contribute financially to the SHRM Foundation as a show of support for the human resources profession. Participate in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic planning for the chapter. Represents the Chapter in the Human Resources community.
Minimum time commitment per month: 5 hours.

LEADER, COMMUNITY RELATIONS  FILLED
 Non-Voting Position

The Leader, Community Relations monitors and evaluates on a continuing basis local community activities. Plans community events to benefit the community. Manages the chapter outreach efforts in the community. Recommends community services projects to be supported by the Chapter. Makes Chapter members aware of community organizations that would be beneficial to HR professionals or businesses. Provides information to Chapter members about local community organizations through various media outlets. Maintains liaison with local community organizations. Represents the Chapter in the Human Resources community.
Minimum time commitment per month: 5 hours.
