About the Sponsorship Program
The NOVA SHRM Sponsorship Program provides organizations that serve the HR community in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area
with valuable exposure to almost 700 HR professionals. We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities to suit the budgets and needs of any sized organization.
Why do we offer this program? One reason: To increase the quality and effectiveness of our programs to serve the needs of our members. As one of the premier HR professional organizations in the Washington region, we have experienced tremendous growth in the last few years. With this growth has come pressure to increase the cost of our events and our dues. However, we are committed to providing cost effective educational and networking events for our members. Your contributions allow us to continue to grow without sacrificing our high standards, while keeping out-of-pocket member expenses to a minimum.
In effect, this is a win-win. Our sponsors get recognition and exposure in this very active marketplace and NOVA SHRM and its members enjoy the services and benefits your sponsorship provides.

Website Sponsor
This unprecedented sponsorship opportunity will allow your organization to get the attention of everyone who visits our website. The NoVA SHRM website, novashrm.org, is also linked to the National SHRM website that attracts tens of thousands of visitors daily! For a period of ONE YEAR, we will prominently display your company’s name and logo on the homepage with a hyperlink to your website. In addition, we will recognize your organization as a website sponsor on the bottom of each page of the website.
Also, your organization will receive a full-page ad in our newsletter, one meeting sponsorship and access to a set of membership labels.

This exciting opportunity will give your organization exposure to all 800+ members of NOVA SHRM. Advertisements are competitively priced and substantial discounts are offered for multiple placements. All ads are quarter page and space is limited.

Executive Series Sponsor
This year, we are planning two executive seminars. These seminars are half-day programs aimed specifically at the senior HR professional or other senior decision makers interested in HR issues.
Sponsors’ names and logos will be featured on letters, brochures, flyers and advertisements publicizing the events. In addition, sponsors will be recognized on signage at the events, given an opportunity to speak about their organization to event participants, and allowed to set up a display table at the event. Sponsors will also receive a free chapter meeting sponsorship and half-page ad in the newsletter.
Contribution: $2,500

Professional Development Sponsor
Our professional development series provides the local HR community with quality educational opportunities at affordable prices. Our events are publicized to thousands of HR professionals in the Washington region. We are planning two programs for this year.
Professional Development sponsors’ names and logos will be featured on letters, brochures, flyers and advertisements publicizing the events. In addition, sponsors will be recognized on signage at the events, given an opportunity to speak about their organization to event participants, and allowed to set up a display table at the event. Sponsors will also receive a half-page ad in the newsletter.
Contribution: $2,000

Meeting Sponsorships
NOVA SHRM Chapter Meeting Sponsors will:
- Address our members directly from the podium before the program begins
- Distribute promotional literature at each table setting
- Set up displays inside the meeting room
- Network with chapter members through introductions made by the NOVA SHRM Board of Directors
- Receive recognition on the NOVA SHRM website and in the newsletter as the meeting sponsor
- Receive two gratis meeting registrations
- Have their organization’s name and logo displayed on signage at the event
- Receive the names and addresses of NOVA SHRM members who attended the meeting
Contribution: $500 per meeting

On-line Resource Guide
This section of our website is used by our members and others in the metropolitan area for information on organizations that cater to the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. HR community.
Organizations that choose to list their firm with us will be given space on our website for a 60-word description of their organization and its products and services for 12 months. For an additional contribution, the chapter will create a hyperlink from our website’s resource/vendor guide to the listing organization’s website.
The NOVA SHRM website is linked to the National SHRM website (www.shrm.org) which receives thousands of hits per month.
Contribution:
- Website Resource/Vendor Guide: $100
- 60-word entry for 12 months (includes organization name, contact name, phone number, and email address.)
- Hyperlink: $150 (additional)
- Changes to listing: $80 (per change)
- Additional specialty headings: $80 (per heading)
