About the Speaker:

After spending the first half of her career as a labor and employment lawyer, Pam Ventura found a new calling within HR. Over the next ten years, while taking on new challenges in HR and then leading Associate Benefits for Anthem, Pam deepened her expertise in benefits, wellness, Total Rewards strategy and communications, associate engagement, and culture change. Now, as the Head of Benefits at Capital One, Pam is leading the teams that design, deliver, and administer benefits and global mobility programs for Capital One’s associates and their families. Guided by her passion for helping others find balance between their professional careers and what matters to them personally, Pam is working to increase the ease and efficiency of accessing benefits, and to create a compelling story about the value of working at Capital One.

Along with her proven track record in benefits, Pam has made a name for herself — according to her friends and family —  as a pretty phenomenal home chef. Picking up tips and tricks from her family and through her family’s many adventures, Pam can whip up a mean meal in no time, without missing a beat in the conversation. Between entertaining family and friends, exploring new places on foot (including college campuses with her kids), and helping lead an organization towards an even better future, Pam still finds time to mentor and coach others, so that they too can find their superpowers and follow their passions.
