Session Overview

Mid-level managers are in the unique position of being change leaders and change agents while also having to adopt the changes themselves. Because of this, they are the keystones in any organizational transformations. Change-enabled organizations recognize this and develop their managers accordingly. In this session, participants will learn key factors in enabling organizational change, key roles to enable organizational change, why managers are the keystones, how managers can influence top-down and bottom-up change, how managers serve as peer influencers, and how organizations can develop their mid-level managers.    

Speaker: Wes Ven Johnson, Senior Change Management Officer in the International Monetary Fund (IMF)


About the Speaker:

Wes Ven Johnson’s career in Organizational Change Management (OCM) spans 25+ years, primarily focused on leading international organizations, governments and nonprofits through major technology and process transformations. He is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner with an expansive knowledge of multiple change management models and methodologies. His areas of expertise include change agent networks, business readiness and measuring change.
