SIG Co-Leader: Total Rewards

As SIG Co-Lead, you will be responsible for planning and hosting quarterly events related to the field of total rewards. Activities include:  

  • Identifying timely topics for the Special Interest Group (SIG)
  • Finding, interviewing and securing speakers for events
  • Coordinating event logistics including space, refreshments and delivering opening and closing remarks at events
  • Marketing events and promoting the NOVA SHRM organization

Estimated Time Commitment: 10 hours during event month; less during non-event months 

This position requires strong organizational and event planning skills; as well as professional presence and communication skills. Experience in compensation, benefits, etc. preferred; public speaking experience is a plus. 

 

 

SIG Co-Leader: Talent Development (TD) SIG

As SIG Co-Leader, you will be responsible for planning and hosting quarterly events related to the field of talent development. Activities include:  

  • Identifying timely topics for the SIG
  • Finding, interviewing and securing speakers for events
  • Coordinating event logistics including space, refreshments and delivering opening and closing remarks at events
  • Marketing events and promoting the NOVA SHRM organization

Estimated Time Commitment: 10 hours during event month; less during non-event months 

This position requires strong organizational and event planning skills; as well as professional presence and communication skills. Experience in talent development and management preferred; public speaking experience is a plus. 

  

 

SIG Co-Leader: Talent Acquisition & Management (TAM) SIG 

 

As SIG Co-Leader, you will be responsible for planning and hosting quarterly events related to the field of talent acquisition and management. Activities include:  

  • Identifying timely topics for the SIG
  • Finding, interviewing and securing speakers for events
  • Coordinating event logistics including space, refreshments and delivering opening and closing remarks at events
  • Marketing events and promoting the NOVA SHRM organization

Estimated Time Commitment: 10 hours during event month; less during non-event months
